 The CIF is controlled through an interface called "Galaad" which allows for basic design work and the generation of "[[https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Programmation_de_commande_num%C3%A9rique|Gcode]]" (A standard language used to communicate with the motors of a CNC machine). However, we do not generally use Galaad for it's design capabilities as it is far inferior to dedicated design software (see below).  These two softwares do the exact same work and have the same functions.  In the case of a cable becoming accidently unplugged we have provided a basic schematic of the wiring. All of the cables are marked appropriately on the CIF respecting this diagram. In addition to these wires there is a USB flash-drive that must stay permentaly plugged into the computer operating the CIF. The license is on this USB drive.
