 The CIF is controlled through an interface called "Galaad" which allows for basic design work and the generation of "[[https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Programmation_de_commande_num%C3%A9rique|Gcode]]" (A standard language used to communicate with the motors of a CNC machine). However, we do not generally use Galaad for it's design capabilities as it is far inferior to dedicated design software (see below).  In the case of a cable becoming accidently unplugged we have provided a basic schematic of the wiring. All of the cables are marked appropriately on the CIF respecting this diagram. In addition to these wires there is a USB flash-drive that must stay permentaly plugged into the computer operating the CIF. The license is on this USB drive.
