Our tutorial for the use of the Trotec Speedy 100 has been divided into multiple sections to help you find what you are looking for faster. The goal of this tutorial is to act as a basic “walk-through” so that you can easily import your work and easily navigate the two programs (Coral Drawl & Job Control) and have a quality out-put each and everytime you use the machine.

• The Basics (En cours): Here we offer a basic description of the machine. Go here if you are interested to know what kinds of material the Trotec handle as well as which file formats are accepted. Besides that, we offer a list of open-source softwares that will help you with your design and file treatment.

• Protocole d'utilisation : This section is perhaps the heart of our tutorial as is will walk you through step by step with all of the menus, machine setup, and safety required to effectively use the Trotec laser cutter.

• Material Tests : The FABlab SU tests the precision and cutting characteristics of all of the material that we have in our general inventory. We offer a copy of the results and testing protocol so that our more advanced users can design with the highest level of precision. This section will be regularly updated as we aquire new materials.
