L'utilisation de cette machine nécessite une formation avec le fabmanager.

1. Allumer la Shopbot en tournant l'interrupteur.

2. Desserrer le support qui maintient le tuyau d'extraction, puis installer la fraise dans le spindle. Le mandrin s'ouvre avec la clé à fourche crantée accrochée à la clé qui se trouve sous l'interrupteur. Tenir la clé à fourche de la main gauche et la clé normale de la droite. Pour desserrer pousser les clés vers l'extérieur, pour serrer les tirer vers soi. Ensuite refixer le tuyau d'extraction.

3. Fixer le matériau au martyr à l'aide des pinces ou à l'aide de scotch double face. 4 pinces pour le bois (une sur chaque côté de la planche) et 6 pinces pour l'aluminium (doubler 2 côtés opposés).

4. Faire le X et le Y zéro en bas à gauche de la zone à usiner (quand on est derrière l'ordinateur).

2. Move the end mill to the center of the milling area
3. Do the Z origin
4. Let the end mill turn freely for 3-4 minutes to warm it up
5. Open Illustrator file in VCarve
6. Adjust the board length and thickness
7. Place the parts to be cut on the board
8. Add dogbones where needed
9. Set up the milling parameters (feed, speed, stepover…) for each operation (edge, hole…)
10. Add tenons
11. Simulate the mill in 3D
12. Save the g-code and send it to the shopbot for milling
13. Put on protective gear
14. Turn on the dust extractor
15. Start the mill and keep one finger on the stop button at all times
16. Wait patiently…
17. Turn off the dust extractor
